ACC makes the news about a rescue

Post by 737driver » Wed Oct 15, 2014 10:28 pm

Props should go to Harlan, Joe, Gordon, Chris, Albert, and whoever else was there. They performed a great live bait rescue to get a woman to shore who got stranded on a rock in the Tot after trying to tube it. This article states that I was there doing training, but I was not. I only told the paper about the story and after asking more info about me, they mistakingly construed the facts. Nevertheless, it's good for the ACC to have some good publicity and good job to out local paddlers! Great rescue!

Clay, great job. Club members can help our sport by promoting our good deeds. Clean-ups rescues and training are amongst our good deeds that need to be played up. BOB
