Looking at paddling something on Tuesday. Got Rob (RobM) and Mike (magicmike) confirmed. Yuko (yukinator1) and her husband Mike are putting in for vacation and hope to join us. A lot of possibilities right now and we'll commit to a location as we discuss and get closer. Post here and we'll stay in touch.
OK. We're doing Ash Street to Grotto on the Upper Frog. Meeting at Ash Street put in right there in Mountainburg at 9 am. Ash Street is marked as Felix Doyl Road. The shuttle is short and here's a map:

I'm loaded and ready, Mike. Can't wait. Be good to see Jerry. Frog looking like it'll hold. Middle Fork White probably not. And we'll always have Mulberry. Cool that Jerry and Dan did Cedar today.

It'll take us a little time to shuttle our take out vehicles to the Grotto and we'll probably be putting in around 10. So If you're running late, go ahead and join us at the put in and we'll get you back. For beer.

Great time, great level. 6 of us covered the 6.5 miles in an hour and a half. It was over all too soon and next time, at this level (4.

, we'll extend the trip upstream into Clear Creek and maybe downstream to Lancaster Bridge. I'm posting first because 4 of the group went on to do Lee Creek.

Great time boys!!! We sure did catch Lee afterwards. Thanks Rescue Rob for the super short-cut! I almost feel guilty for having so much fun while everyone else works.....But not really. Thanks all!-M-

Curtis
Thanks for posting up about this trip & for letting me tag along. Great fun.
I went up & took a look at Clear Creek put in at Chester after our run. Frog at Rudy was at 4.73 at 1 pm & Clear still looked good to go & was still running muddy. We'll have to remember to add it to the top of our run next chance we get to catch the upper Frog at that level again.

Speaking of Clear Creek, me J.R. And Patti put on at Chester today
at 5:00 and took out at Ash St bridge at dark. Awesome time and
great level. Right before the entrance to the gorge the river has
changed a bit. There is a new line that has opened up on river right
with very little water going left like it used to. There is a big tree
across the creek that you have to go under and it's a bit tricky but the
runout is clean. Great surfing in several places.
