Mulberry George here. Been meaning to join the message board for a while but I've been too busy ripping it up out there. I went to the Current with some real goofs last weekend. You probably know some of em. Some guy named Deuce or something like that (who names their kid Deuce?) and his buddy Paul Smith threw a PFD on me and tied me to the front of a Super Puma last Friday night. Next thing I knew I was helping some French kid unpin his kayak six miles below Round Spring. What a gong show. But hey, as that Deuce guy told the little fella in the kayak, "if you're not swimming you're not trying", and I don't know how much Deuce tries, but I sure have seen him swim a lot! :wht:

Anyway, after making me spend the weekend tied to the front of that janky old Super Puma they finally let me break out my sweet Hyside. Those guys are too cheap to buy gopros, but they did at least take a few pics with their phones. Some of you might recognize me. Check em out.

I know, right? Those jackwagons didn't give me time to grab my frame and oars before we left and they wouldn't let me borrow a paddle. Can't say I'm surprised. I heard one time Deuce showed up at the put in with no oars and had to break down a frame and tape livery paddles to the pipes.

MG,

You best just be glad I had to bail on that trip. There is talk of a moratorium against Paul, Deuce and myself being on the same river at the same time. Inside joke is that Deuce and I need to bring our own 'personal safety boater' whenever we paddle together. Sounds like it was a great trip. Sorry I had to miss it.
