Are there any of you who are free to paddle weekdays in the central area? Anyplace?

How about we paddle from the Burns Park boat ramp down to the rowing club? Easy shuttle, moving water.

I put in at the place your talking about taking out and paddle upstream to either burns park or the sandbar across from rebsamen park. Then paddle back to the where I parked. Saves gas and you get more river miles.
The river isn't flowing that much. So it's not that difficult.
I'm shooting to put on at my normal time at 5:30pm tomorrow. See ya if I see ya.

I am not sure how central you mean, but a friend and I have a schedule that allows us to be off work on several weekdays. We live in the Fort Smith area, but don't mind driving for water at all!

Was thinking of a trip from the Burns Park boat ramp to the rowing club ramp, 4 miles through downtown Little Rock on the Arkansas River. You can turn around and do the trip back up the to park, current not that bad.
No white water, just urban paddling.

Hi,
I live in Conway, but am free to paddle the remmel -> rockport trip or other water in the area tomorrow and Friday this week. Next week my schedule will be slightly different. Am a beginner whitewater paddler but I would like to play at rockport. Have a vehicle w room for two whitewater kayaks on top

Richard,
As per Entergy's latest email, they will be releasing every day from 8am until midnight, about 3600cfs.
Best Regards
Jim
Probably heading that way myself on Saturday if the rains don't get something else going.

Low water trips from the dam are fine, just a bit more work. Are you joining us?
