Good video. I think I would have gone ahead and put the PFD on the dog just to have a better handle, but, there are tradeoffs and it worked so that's just a comment, not a criticism.

I'm not 100% sold on that specialized rescue raft; yes, it would make it much easier to bring a swimmer on board through the end openings (especially a weak or injured victim), but, it also allowed water to rush through the raft when used for a lower like we saw in the video. Again, trade-offs....
