Response on comments to ADEQ about Buffalo River Hog Farm

Has anyone else received an official response to comments made about C & H farms application for CAFO from ADEQ? I know many ACC members made comments to ADEQ about this issue, did anyone else receive an official answer from ADEQ? They sent me this small book via certified mail, basically insulting my intelligence, and basically confirming my worst fears about how far gone our government is. I was just wondering?

I've been curious about who created the change of agency. I understand it was legislated, but can we find out who engineered the loss of protection?

I am curious as to the contents of the response. Is there anywhere it can be read? Has it been published online anywhere?

Mike Mills at Buffalo Outdoor Center should be able to answer your question.
Strange, I know several Newton County residents that don't seem to be as concerned about this issue as the people posting.
Perhaps they know something being on the inside that we don't?

I knew several who were all in favor of the proposed dam. Thankfully that "improvement" did not come to pass.

Yes I am Randy, but I don't count. Surely someone else has received this same document from ADEQ, I mean I thought it was an arrest warrant coming by certified mail, I basically called them criminals to their face, and I was very surprised by the content. This is a summary of all comments given to ADEQ in regards to the permit application changes, and ADEQ's responses to the comments. It provides wonderful study into the way the state regards it's citizens and their rights. ADEQ's response to these comments infuriated me, and I will be glad to pass this along to anyone who wants it.

Where are my daughters when I need them. Dave, I would love to do that. I am just not that capable with this newfangled computer stuff. I'll ask my wife, she is much younger and smarter than I.

Wisefloater, I'm curious about you post, are you referring to long time born here Newton Co. residents, or moved in from the outside world Newton Co. residents ? Two very different animals.

I have received 3 packets from AEDQ.
We have two pig issues. This was one of eight. There may be as many of these as there are at the hog farm and they are pooping directly into the river.

Great. Those feral hogs will do some serious damage unless they are checked. Their populations explode under the right conditions.
