Fisher Ford Fee?

Post by sig » Tue Jun 10, 2014 5:50 pm

I had a coworker ask me the other day if I had heard about this park opening (I said I had) and they asked me about a fee. I said I believe the park is free and maybe the news story they saw was emphasizing that the grand opening was free (food?).

But since that conversation last week, I've seen articles (screen shot below of one from today) about the opening of the park with the phrase "it's free this summer".

Does that mean it won't be free at some point?

Can't charge to use the water. It's a usufruct. Same as every other navigable river in the state (aka almost every other river in the state).

Now to access the changing facilities... The city can do what it wants.

Disregard the guy with the beard at the front gate with the coffee can, it's just Magic Mike.
The park is and all ways will be free for entrance and access.

Thanks for the clarification. Weird that several news stories got it wrong.
