Which campground is the most elevated above the river? Some of us TX paddlers are driving up tonight and just in case the water comes up overnight I want to make sure we are good.

Thanks

Prolly deer camp, you can rent it at visitors center and have a take out. May find someone to split it with you and there is picnic tables and covered pavilion. There were portable toilets there last I saw. Then the "modern" Sand Bar Camp would prolly be next, then Falls. Then sand bar bridge could be out of service due to high water and require the long way around.

Deer camp is already rented out this weekend as of Wednesday. That could change if the weather forces the people to go home early. But lucky for you the tot is rising right now

Thanks.we'll just keep our eyes on the level on the way up from DFW. Planning on camping at sandbar. Does anyone know at what level the sandbar bridge washes out?

Somewhere around 5 foot it starts to get a little iffy.
