S. Fork Little Red from Clinton to Johnson Hole

Does anyone know the distance? Ill have a 9 year old paddling partner so I figured ill get to do most of the work!
About 4.1 miles, using the Google Earth measuring tool. That's if you put in on SFLR. You could also put in on the Archey Fork, which would allow you to float through the recently completed stream-bank restoration area that the Natural Conservancy and the City of Clinton worked on. That would make your trip about 5.2 miles.
The first mile would have some faster water; if you're not 100% sure you want to do that with the 9-year old, you could walk down and look at it from behind the bank parking lot and then decide.
