Caddo Sat. 5/17?

Thinking about a Caddo trip Sat. Either Narrows to Glenwood or more likely a Glenwood to Amity. We can watch levels and choose on Sat. If we are real ambitious we could maybe go to the 2nd Amity take out.

Any level above 5.8' should be fine for the upper section. Went last Sat. at level 5.6' ish and had just a few little scrapes, but was a fun day. Should be plenty fun above 6' which I think you should get. I'm thinking about it...I have some tractor work to do...just need to see where I stand tomorrow. Cindy

OK so it looks like it will hold above 6' :crossed: So a Narrows down run looks good. Just need some more paddlers. As to meet up time 10:00 or 11:00 works for HHH and myself. :kayak:

Hopefully there will be plenty of water for an upper trip, we'll watch the weather and levels for any major changes and check-in again this evening.

Best Regards
Jim

Minna, I sure enjoyed paddling with you and Chris on Sims to Dragover.

Chris, I have someone coming this evening or tomorrow morning to help me with a tractor problem I'm having. I will either be there with boat or to help you and Minna shuttle unless I see someone who posts that they are going. Caddo is in my backyard so I don't mind shuttling. Hoping to join ya'll again. Let me know what time/place and I'm there. 11am under the Glenwood bridge would give me the best chance of paddling with ya'll. But let me know what works best for ya'll.

Chris,

How about 11am under the Glenwood bridge for the upper float? It should be cloudy, and on the cool side, but good level thus far. I will check back a bit later before retiring for the evening.

Best Regards
Jim

11:00 under the bridge in Glenwood it is. I'll try to get there a little early in case we need to consolidate some boats/paddlers. Minna is riding with me and HHH will probably come too. Felicia will not make this one.

Chris,

We'll see you there!

Cindy,

I hope you get your mechanical problems straightened out with no problems. I have had to work on a number of tractor/ implement malfunctions down on the farm for years, so I'll be interested to visit with you more on that account later :D

Best Regards
Jim

Count me in for the Narrows-to-Glenwood run. See y'all at 11:00 under the bridge. There's a good chance I'll actually show up on time. I plan to paddle then get back to LR in time for a 7:00 roller derby date I made before the rivers came up. That's right, I hang out with classy gals. :box:

Hope you guys have a great float. I'll catch you on the next Caddo run maybe. Been too long. Keep the hairy side up!

Deuce,

That's good advice for most; but not for me. :problem: :eh:
