The worst part of that good news was that it'll cost the same as Royalex. With luck it'll be pre-big inflation Royalex prices and not post-going out of production Royalex prices. :)

I imagine WW/creeking canoes will still trend towards the shorter plastic boats and the tripping/rec/flat water boats will trend towards Royalex2.

That's my interpretation. If my very rudimentary understanding is correct it sounds like the only difference in the T-Formex is the outer layer. The rest seems to be the same old foam and ABS sammich.
