Can Someone Please School Me On The Little MO?

With the rain hopefully coming in over the next few days, some friends and I have The Little MO in our sites for the first time. Could someone please school me on optimal levels, high levels, at what levels the class III becomes class IV, obstacles, and any other info I might need or want?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Pinball can be an issue for someone who might be still getting grasp of things. Rock/boulder garden makes it a read and run thing.

Winding Stairs is the first biggie and can be scouted on river left. Sneak is to the left.

Edgar's Surprise is the last real challenge. Stay to right as much as possible.

Have fun and be safe.

I'm no expert, but I'd say it's more technical on the lower side 5' down to the min recommended for floating. Around 6' is a nice ride. Fluffy through the more boney parts, good waves, and several holes. On the way to 8' you start to lose some features, but you get bigger waves and some bigger holes. Above 8 it really starts to get debris in the flow ...I've seen 6-8 ft waves on it prolly around 9-10' but I didn't boat it at that level. I ran it 5 times last year, 4.75-7.75. Main hazards I'd say are strainers long swims at higher water and strong hydraulics .

It's also fairly remote, you might want to know which way to walk if you lost a boat.

A+ scenery, usually see an eagle or two. Quality rapids, easy put in/take out. Only problem is it comes up quick and drains quickly so you have to be ready for it.
