Caddo on Mum's Day

Ain't got no mama. Ain't got no grannies. My aunt ain't got no kids. Ain't got no spousal unit. Ain't got no reason not to paddle Sunday. Do got a couple of kayakses.
Anybody wanna run Glenwood to Amity?

I might be interested depending on the water level. It's kind of low right now but looks to be rising. I will keep an eye on it and let you know this evening if that is ok.

Holla. It's low above Glenwood but I think 5.5-ish is OK below there. Not sure. I've never run that. Krueger, jump in here! You're the expert!

Sorry, went to bed at midnight thinking nobody really interested in Caddo today. Slept late and now I see posts. Need to check on a couple of things including a friend I texted at midnight about taking her out in one of my rec boats today for her first time.
If this trip materializes, it'll be an afternoon thing. Weather presently looks worse than the forecast which calls for 40% chance of thunderstorms in the evening, ramping up at night.
I don't even know distance or length of time on the Amity run.
Holler with any details you can.

Its about 7-8 miles I think Lyle, depending on takeout.

Well, darned, I've got to officially withdraw from this effort at this point.
I do want to hit that stretch sometime when the weather, water, timing, and logistics planets all align. It's one of those "I still haven't ever paddled that" trips that I want to check off my list.

C-Bob and I paddled it about that level in march, saw a couple of eagles. paddle all the way.
