Caddo Wednesday April 23
I'll be paddling the Caddo river from Glenwood to Amnity Highway 84 a 13 mile run. Meet at the Glenwood public access at 11a.m.. A long paddle but no significant rapids. BOB

Re: Caddo Wednesday April 23
Bob,
I hope you are feeling better! I also am hoping to finally float some on the Caddo pretty soon when the weather, and the level all jive enough for a Saturday float from Caddo Gap or Norman. I've floated the Glenwood to Hwy 182 Amity float many times over the years, I used to think it was about ten miles, but the newer Game and Fish put-in there in Glenwood has shortened it some. I remember making that trip one day and getting down to 182 , tired but satisfied, and there was a guy there just putting in for the five mile or so float on down to Hwy 84 in a small rubber boat, with about an hour of light left. We visited for a moment and I wished him well, I had certainly had my $5 shuttle fee's worth of exercise that day and headed on home.
The Caddo is such a fun river, and scenic, with a dedicated paddler like you this amount of miles is fine, but for me ' messing around quite a bit that day', I was just glad to get to the 182 access.
Best Regards
Jim
