Wolf Pen Gap ATV Trail System Plan announced

The USFS has announced the choice of "Alternative I".
The trail system will be open from the second Friday of March until October 31.There will be two holiday openings,Thanksgiving and Christmas/New Years.
As I understand it the trails will be monitered by"local voluteers"and the USFS after heavy rainfall to minamalize enviromental damage to Gap Creek and Board Camp Creek. (Southwest Times Record 4/9/14)
I heard there would be a rain guage installed,will try to learn more about that since this is the headwaters of the Cossatot.
