Do you prefer to have the waiver's for the rec school sent to you, or Michael Strobel? When we pay the message mentions to send them to Michael. Can't wait to get back there! Thanks.

I sent mine to Michael and he told me they are actually supposed to go to Liz this year.

Registered and waiver in the mail. Ready for another great weekend on the river!!

Felicia, let me know what we can do to help. Several of the Waco Paddle Club members will be coming in from Waco on Thursday, so we can help with registration again if needed.

Julie and I are signed up for tandem canoe.

Looking forward to it.

Missed it last year because we did not get our registration in before it filled up.

Pretty new at this, very excited, but was wondering if I could rent most of the equipment on site, if so, is there a number to one of the local stores that I could possibly go through?

lrtweedy,

I'm the instructor coordinator for Rec School under the able direction of Director Felecia Crawford. Give me a call on my cell 501-350-4364. Participants need to bring a boat and equipment. Generally, the outfitters on the spring river don't have all the proper equipment for the class. Also, they are reluctant to outright rent the boat for you to take with your class as they like to shuttle you to the top and get the boat back each day.

But call me and we can discuss.

There are no more kayak spots left for Rec School. However, we can still take solo and tandem canoes. But time is short! Register this week, as it's slated to close Saturday, May 10.l

There's always room for more canoes! Just ask the kayakers in the hole. :wht:

Deuce is right, of course. Seems like he and Gary tried to find room on top of my kayak to park Gary's Legend in an eddie on the Spring last year. :NoNo: :box:

We are full. We can only take the number of participants that we have instructors for. Thank you to all instructors and assistants who have volunteered!
