Buffalo canoe/camping staff member need.

Quapaw Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America is looking for an assistant 50 miler leader for summer camp. This is a paid position.

Each week of summer camp a group of older scouts (age 14-17) will depart Camp Rockefeller (Damascus AR) on Monday and spend five days canoe camping while covering 50 miles on the Buffalo and White rivers. This person would assist the staff trip leader in providing guidance and instruction to the scouts.

Minimum requirements:
18 years of age and experienced in canoeing and camping.
Willing to be a registered BSA member and live by the scout oath and law.

Ideal candidate:
At least 21 years of age
Life guard certified
Experienced canoeist
Good fisherman
Eagle Scout
