For Sale: Mad River Screamer

The Mad River Screamer is an old school, down river racing canoe, designed by Jim Henry, canoe designer, and National Down River Racing Champion.
Very few were ever made,and even fewer have survived.
Contact me if you have any interest in seeing more photos of the canoe, including a Screamer doing whitewater on the Yough river.
It has little to no rocker, is a fairly hard tracking boat, but can be manuevered quite well by a SKILLED paddler.
Could handle the Mississippi, and Missouri 340 river races with ease.
It is NOT a canoe for the beginning paddler.
This one is in fiberglass layup, with wood gunwales and thwarts, and seat frame. Excellent condition.
It has canoe width kneeling pad, and canoe width foor brace installed. Excellent condition.
One minor, cosmetic repair on bottom of bow & stern which does not affect anything but cosmetic appearance.
The boat spent most of it's life in dry storage, and was very seldom used.

I will deliver the canoe within a 100 mile radius of my home, cost free.
