Join us for the traditional bringing in of the new year with a trip down the Little Maumelle River just west to Little Rock. We will meet 11AM Wednesday morning at Pinnacle Mountain State Park by the boat ramp at the West Side parking lot. We will unload and run shuttle. The trip is about four miles and we will take out at the private boat ramp below Pinnacle Valley Road. We will stop along the way to heat up the cider and eat lunch, so pack some sandwiches and anything else that you want or want to share. Look forward to seeing a great group. Happy New Year!

We are new to town, and just joined. Probably not ready to do the float, but would meet you at the takeout and help you shuttle as a chance to meet some folks.

If you haven't been to Pinnacle Mountain state park yet, put it on your todo list if you like to hike.

Harry - are you not sure about joining because you don't have a boat yet? I'm quite certain we could rustle something up for you if you wanted to join us. We could probably figure out a either a canoe or a kayak loaner. Feel free to email or PM me if you want and we could puzzle out the details.

We have a pair of SOT's and a pair of Whitewater boats (Although Gina has not seen hers yet. It is a Christmas present sitting in the garage with a bow on it waiting for her return from her mothers) My reluctance is a combination of schedule ( She is out of town until Monday afternoon) and the fact that it has been a long time since we paddled anything anywhere. We just moved to Little Rock and the last 2-3 months have been moving and settling into a new house. I received several responses offering help and gear and that is most gracious. It makes us want to meet you all even more.

I will be there providing the weather cooperates.

I'm planning to join the float this year -really looking forward to it. I've paddle up the little Maumelle from Two Rivers Bridge, but haven't made it all the way to the park yet and have paddled in the park area, but haven't made it all the way down to the private access yet -so, I'll finally see the missing link.

Ms Mollie and I plan on joining the trip,work dependent
