I think the lack of responses comes down to...
1 lots of folks tied up with family/holiday commitments
2 folks are very superstitious and don't like to talk about paddling right before a big rain event lest their angry rain gods smite them by taking away the predicted rain
3 based on the forecast (which no one wanted to actually talk about - see #2 above), many were probably thinking Buffalo may well be in flood on Sunday
With this rain event not over, I think many may continue to watch to see where water levels end up. Today and tomorrow will be great for whitewater...might not be as good for a more casual float. And high water can take awhile to move down the Buffalo.
