Wetland tour #3 Grassy Lake 12/21 Cancelled

The Grassy Lake paddle scheduled for December 21 has been cancelled. The forecast is calling for 100% chance of rain and thunderstorms. Might be a good time to look for some whitewater though!

how many miles do you usually cover on these bayou trips? no current vs when there is current?? just curious. really interested in this type of paddling...

The scheduled trips are usually about 4 or 5 miles long. This is a good distance for organizing a larger group. However, with good current, we had no trouble doing an 8 mile float.
