Mulberry Sunday, Trip Report

Post by kru1 » Sat Dec 14, 2013 3:18 pm

After being frozen in my house for over a week, need to get out and paddle.

Gonna run a section of the Mulberry tomorrow. My guess is that it will be in the high twos, so we have options.

Meeting at Turner Bend at 11:00am. Should allow time for the warm/er air to arrive.

Post up if you plan on attending.

Have you talked the spouse into getting out today?

Interest is brewing with the Mill Creek contingent.

Lots of Eagles down near the shoe!

Just took the spouse's boat off the car. She doesn't feel well today.

Durn, haven't had the opportunity to see her boating skills demoed! Maybe next time.

Great day on the river. Floated from Little Mulberry to Whoop. 5 kayakers and 3 open boats.

Guessing the river was around 3'. Weather was a little chilly at first, but the ample sunshine warmed us up.

They were done alphabetically, not chronologically. Only allowed four per post.

I should've had Prophet's stand alone and named it out of "the closet".
