Mohawk just announced on C - boats, they have until end of business Monday to place their last order. They were originally told they had until March. The change is happening. -M-

Man this really sucks!

We were pipe dreaming the other day, and were hopeful that some other company had the money to invest in taking over this process. Buffalo Canoe will be out of business as well. Shame one of the manufactures couldn't get financing for buying this and continuing making Royalex. Truly a sad day in the boating world.

I panicked when I heard the news a few months ago and bought my first brand new canoe.I could have waited and saved some money(I've seen a couple of Wenonah Argosy's on the For Sale forum)but I 'm glad I got to put the first scratch in a Royalex boat.I love this material,never imagined it going away.
