Will dates/times for roll sessions at Jones Center be put up on board?

I realize they were announced at last meeting, but I failed to take them down. Oh yeah, & cost to attend, if any?

Roll Sessions

Thanks Mike. Have had the intention to post that, but family/thanks followed by a busted pipe and flooded house has kept me going non stop.

I am planning on going to the DEC. 14TH roll session to assist others, although this was the morning Susan had planned to get our Christmas tree and I may be in the doghouse temporarily for going to the roll session. Susan will get the tree with me there or not. Hope to see many of you at this first roll session, both to practice and to assist. I was very pleased with how new paddlers did last year on the water. You made it worth our time volunteering. Keep practicing. Come early so we can get a start on time. Remember to use the steps down to the back door and rinse your boat off at home to get the leaves out and the dust off. I will bring spare paddle, helmet, skirt, nose plugs, PFD as loaners in case someone forgets their's, but use your checklist when loading gear, just like you would a river trip. If you have a decent roll on one side, work on your off side roll !

Someone left their sprayskirt at the roll session today 1-11-14 at the Jones center. Call me at 479-721-9101 or email me at spesche@aol.com to identify it and I will try to get it back to you or you can wait until the next roll session and I will bring it with me then.

I will be coming to the roll session tomorrow Saturday Feb 8th,2014, assuming the Jones Center is open, but I no longer have the spray skirt that was left at the 1-11-14 roll session. I turned it over to our NW Chapter President Kristian Underwood at our last chapter meeting after adding a whiffle ball to it's grab loop. Kristian coordinates our roll sessions with the Jones Center and he said that he would be there for sure. Kristian's board name is Kru1 if you should need to contact him.

Hey, newbie here. I am interested in the pool sessions(NWA). Are they still happening next weekend 2/22/2014? Is the fee for non-members $8.00? How warm is the pool?... shorts and a rash guard?

Erik- I think it's 5 bucks for non- members. The pool is pretty warm. Some just wear shorts. Others more. Please do guard your rash, especially if it's contagious. Come on out next week, it's a lot of fun. Afterwards there is the Middle Fork clean up.

If there's whitewater though, all bets are off-M-
