Dierks White Water Slalom Course

Jeff and I measured and marked out the best pole placements this past Fri. The COE is going bore the holes and we'll install the pole pockets this Wed 12-4-13 starting around 9:00 or so if anyone else can help. The COE already wants us to schedule the first event for 2014 to ensure a special release!! Awesome stuff folks and this is unprecedented cooperation from any COE entity!!!!

I meant to tell you yesterday on the river that I am looking forward to the slalom course and I will definitely be making the drive from DFW for future releases. Thanks to you and Jeff for all your work and planning on this.

With the assistance of Tim J and Sasha (my chocolate labrador), the pole pockets were installed today. Talked quite awhile with COE and they want to do whatever they can (within their powers. Some things are up to the LR headquarters) to have more kayaking events there!! If you are on Facebook and are not in the "Arkansas Whitewater Slalom Racing" group, send a request and you will be added. The latest info will be found there.
