So, what do people think? Is the rain going to last long enough to get the levels up somewhere for Saturday? I'm hopeful...

Yes, but (apologies to Little Feat) ...

"Cold, cold, cold ...
That river is freezin', freezin' cold."

Yeah, but I'm from Great Britain and it's always cold when we go paddling!

The Cossatot will be good Saturday, and Sunday. Folks may or may not find the time to post here since some are on the road already and cell service is weak to non-existent over there, but if you get to the Falls Campground at around 10 AM Saturday I can pretty much guarantee you will find folks to paddle with!

No, family plans intervened. That's why I don't want to miss out this weekend!

I'll be heading down from Little Rock also. You interested in carpooling? Get on the road by 8, stop in to OOO at 9, and be there around 1030. I'm looking to come back Sat evening.

Sounds good to me, do you want to drive or shall I. I don't mind either way. Where do you want to meet? I'm in Sherwood.

I'm only planning on running it on Saturday. As for cold gear I have a 3mm wetsuit or palm dry trousers. Various base layers and thin fleeces and then a kokatat dry top. Have a skull cap, but usually wear a sweet rocker helmet so don't need the cap. Have some neoprene poagies, but usually accept having cold hands rather than wearing them.
