Fishing Remmel to Rockport Again

I'm thinking about floating and fishing from Remmel to Rockport again this Saturday if anybody is interested in going.

On this last outing, we didn't make the float down from the dam, rather we fished a small area just below the Ledge for about three hours or so. It was in the mid-seventies on that day, and just prior to a frontal passage, which always helps with the fishing. It was very overcast, and rained on us all morning, but it was a good time to fish.
It is cooler now, and somewhat later, but I do think the fishing will still be fine. It may be time to try some top-water baits as well,' if' you are a Bass fisherman. I always have to adjust for the season. I wasn't as big a fan of ice-fishing as much as the native Minnesotans, but did even try that in the Winters of 1963-4 on Lake Osakis, Mn.
