NW Chapter Halloween Party / October Meeting
Posted: Thu Oct 10, 2013 6:38 pm
It is that time of the year again for the Northwest Chapter's annual Halloween Party. Each October we have a party in lieu of our monthly meeting. This year is no different, however, there will be a difference in the venue. Tom Burroughs has always graciously hosted this party, but this year he will be out of town/state. Therefore, Liz and I have decided to host the event at our house to keep the tradition alive. The Chapter will provide Burgers and Dogs with fixins. This event is open to the entire ACC (not just the NW Chapter).
When: Friday October 25th, 7:00pm - ?
Where: Our House, in Winslow AR, right in the middle of the NW & River Valley Chapters.
https://maps.google.com/maps?q=560+Bell ... 72959&z=17" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
What to Bring: Your favorite dish (not required but appreciated), BYOB, Tent (we have plenty of acreage to pitch many tents), Glow in the Dark Bocce
Why: Why not, it is fall, perfect for camping and blow logs.
Activities: Aside from the norm, I am going to provide a working draft of the new (and improved) Mighty Mulberry River Map. This will be your chance for some input on naming rapids, shoals, rocks, bluffs, etc... Brad Wimberly and I are also searching for some good photos of people enjoying the river to use on the map.
Please post up if you can make so we can get some kind of head count to know how much food to buy.
See you then,
Kristian
