Upper Nantahala and Tellico ledges vids

Post by adamm » Sun Oct 06, 2013 1:49 pm

The family and I headed east last weekend for the guest appreciation festival at NOC, and to visit friends. I was able to meet up with some guys from the ACC and a few Kansas city guys and get some runs in on the upper Tellico and upper Nanty. I wish I had stayed and paddled longer as the the dam on the nanty broke mid last week on the Nanty (i believe it was a generator failure) and the water was shut off for the rest of our time out there.

Adam

Wow, great footage! Those were some major drops on that Tellico run & you guys looked like you were flying down the Nantahala. You did a great job of keeping your cool & hitting those rolls

Also, particularly enjoyed the fact the your footage consisted of "river music" (the sound of the water & your crew's communication on the river) vs. having to listen to some "really cool" (the typical rap or head banger ... not that there's anything wrong with that  ) musical soundtrack. :twocents:
