A friend of mine is doing a Triathlon next weekend. One leg is a 10 mile paddle, and I want to give him a winner's edge. Does anyone have a touring kayak they would be willing to loan out for a weekend?
Thanks, Chris

Re: Needed - Borrow a Touring Kayak
Chris,
If none of your brotheren or cistern down that way come up with a boat, that would be much easier to go get, and use... I do have a Perception Acadia 12 foot kayak that you'd e welcome to. It's several years old but in good shape, it's my fishing kayak. The boat has a sharp bow and keel and is my choice for speed on flat water. Not exactly a sea kayak, but much, much faster than my old-school Overflows, and certainly even more so than any of the shorter boats. I also have a nice, light, carbon fiber touring paddle to go with it.
