Hi Folks,

We are opening registration for the upcoming ACA L-4 Whitewater Kayak instructors course. Course is already half full, let us know quickly if you are interested!UPDATE- TWO SPOTS LEFT COURSE IS NOW FULL

The Board of the Arkansas Canoe Club has voted to support ACC members who wish to take this course! The initial cost is 500.00 but if you are willing to teach at the annual ACC School of Whitewater Paddling your cost is now brought down to 250.00 for the whole program. This course is normally 500.00 to 950.00 depending on where you go, but thanks to your organization's support of paddling instruction, it is now even more affordable.

This program consists of two parts, the Instructor Development Workshop (IDW) where we teach methods of instructing whitewater paddling skills, and the second part, the Instructor Certification Exams (ICE) where you get to demonstrate your instructional skills on the water and off with the other participants functioning as your "participants".

The IDW will be held at the Cossatot River November 22-24 and the ICE will be held at the Chattahoochee River Whitewater course December 6-8.
