Rendezvous + Social Media

I don't think I've seen it mentioned here on the message board but Arkansas Outside proposed using the hashtag #aoccr13 for this weekends Rendezvous on social media websites like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, whatever. What this does is allows others to search/filter for those posts that attendees have used that tag on in order to easily find them in real-time or long after this years Rendezvous ends.

Below are links that should take you to the search pages that will display content tagged with #aoccr13:

Instagram Photos* - http://www.gramfeed.com/instagram/tags#aoccr13

Twitter* - http://twitter.com/search?q=%23aoccr13

Facebook** - http://www.facebook.com/hashtag/aoccr13

*Anyone should be able to see these feeds whether you have an account with Instagram/Twitter or not.
**This feed requires you to be logged into Facebook. Only posts that are set to "public" (rather than "friends") will show up in this feed.

Note: Anyone can post anything online and tag it with the #aoccr13 hashtag. That is what makes social media social. That said, ANYONE can post ANYTHING with that tag and Arkansas Canoe Club, Arkansas Outside, me, you, Jeremy, etc isn't responsible for the content of those posts (and can't remove them or untag them) so caveat spectator (viewer beware).
