Can someone point me to a no fee place to camp on the Buff that has a nice pool next to the campground for cooling off? I was considering Buckville but the lake is reaalllll low.
Spring Creek? Maumee South? I really am ignorant of those handy little places away from the campgrounds.
I'm going outfitted so I don't even really need a potty or water source, just some grass and shade and river. A trash can would be nice though.
Not thinking of paddling, taking the pups, just kicking back in the woods.

I've felt the touch of healing hands, neath the willow trees and birch, cause the water's my religion, and the river is my church. Kenny

No fee areas on the Buffalo do not have drinking water.
Spring Creek on the Buffalo is no fee, has shade but no pool. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times and dogs are not allowed on trails. Grinders Ferry and Shine Eye also have no fee camping.
National Forests have a friendlier attitude toward dogs.

We are all afflicted with Cognitive Dissonance. The greater our religious, social, financial or political affiliation, the greater the affliction. We hear what we want to hear. We believe what we want to believe. Truth becomes irrelevant.

Rush has a cold spring that feeds into the river there.
