Faked out at Rockport Thursday
Took a day off to do a little surfing. Saw the release START on the web but failed to watch for the crest. Got 2400 CFS. Caveat palistor.
Re: Faked out at Rockport Thursday
We went out anyway to practice surfing canoes and it worked out ok for that. Crash was able to roll Chris's new OC91 on her second try.
When we were leaving, some yahoo drove down the ramp and then along the sidewalk in his SUV. Didn't want to bother 911 for that but if I knew the non-emergency number I would have called it. I guess the city needs to place a rock to block the sidewalk.

I would have called 911, but I wouldn't have had my phone with me on the river. And hopefully have had the presence of mind to turn on my helmet-cam.
The 2400 CFS level was not totally useless, but it wasn't as much fun. Curiously, I just received a reply from Ted saying they might be able to continue 3600 CFS daily releases until Rendezvous. I wonder what happened Thursday?
