CURRENT RIVER AREA Oct 12 - 17

Time to plan for nice fall paddling and camping. Just 50 more days (as of Aug 22). Base camping at Pulltite Campground, paddling the upper Current, hopefully a day on the Jack's Fork and Eleven Point. Paddling Saturday Oct 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, possibly ending with a short trip Oct 17. Probably Baptist Camp to Cedar Grove (with an option on down to Akers) Saturday.

Looks like we'll have an AWESOME group, lots of us going to enjoy the weather and water and company. Thanks Paul, Luke, Chris, Ann. Just wondering: any chance Luke and Chris will be up to their friendly "gotcha" rivalry? I sure hope so!!

Although, word on the street, er I mean river, is Deuce and I need our own Safety Boater when paddling together. How

Mike and I plan to arrive Friday, then paddle Sat - Mon, and maybe Tues before heading home.

What can I say? I think some people just feel threatened by greatness. Or is that silliness?
Oh well. Thankfully Mama Liz will be there to keep us out of trouble.
