I somehow think that with water flowing in the streams around our great Natural State, not too many will make it out to Secchi Day on Beaver Lake.....But if you are interested helping to monitor the water quality of Beaver Lake this is a neat event in which citizens get to become scientists.
This is the 8th year of citizen water quality measurements of the clarity of Beaver Lake. Measuring the Turbidity of water (water clarity) can be a helpful water quality management tool, and is just one facet of a comprehensive and balanced watershed management approach for proactively protecting, enhancing, and sustaining water quality.
