backwash flush?? contaminated runoff

not so much today because many of the creeks have been running much above normal. There has been a flow, when often none this time of year.. only pools.

When some like Cadron get pushed into a late summer run, do any worry about runoff having a bit much pond scum or cow field contributions? Maybe the parts per million make it a no matter point? I see lots of slime in the Cad up here at my place.

Maybe I am just trying to convince meself I need to go to my son's birfday party instead of loading the old RPMmax??? :fish:

Cliff, the wild animal poo alone can increase bacteria levels well beyond primary contact safety standards. Even on a wilderness run like the hailstone. FYI

Think toilet. The great thing about this is that it should flush out all the algae. Should be outstanding in a few days.
And yes, not the best water now but the replacement water will be much nicer.

I tried to drink as much as I could today. Not often I get to give my immune system a run for it's money like this! No explosive diarrhea yet :D :crossed:
