16' beater canoe cheap

Located in Murfreesboro, Tennessee as seen on the Nashville Craigslist, a worn but servicible 16' canoe that needs some repairs to the bent gunnels (not mine). Cheap, less than many of the tupper-boats (Rogue, Pelican, etc.) sell for used. Hull isn't bad from the pictures and appears to be Royalex. Deck plates may ring a bell with someone here as they are distinctive... Dagger? Might be a way to get on the water cheap or acquire a loaner that one doesn't worry about getting damaged. It has been listed for a while now with no takers... it isn't pretty... so seller might deal?

ETA: After some looking around on the whirl-why-web, it seems this canoe was probably made by Perception based upon the raised trident deck plate motif.

Here is another, a 16' Mohawk Fiberglass canoe for $275 in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Appears to have had a hull damage and repair. Might be worth checking out for someone who is looking for a CHEAP CANOE. and can stand a YELLOW one.
