Shot this video of kayakers and open boaters at the ledge Sunday afternoon. Gopro camera was mounted at the end of a long painter's pole. Enjoy.

Great fellow. Met him this last weekend at Dierks. Helped me carry my open boat up to the top more than once.

Ha! Sounds like a line from
Last of the Mohicans. "Longbeard, go in peace."

Hey Mace,
I was down below the ledge Saturday, after finishing a down-river trip when I saw another down-river rec. kayaker run into you and capsize. I thought you did a quick and very good job of assisting the person and their boat back to the bank, most commendable! I paddled over in my purple Overflow X to try and assist with the bulldozing toward the end, but you had it under control
P.S. I like the shark's teeth, they remind me of the 'Flying Tigers'.
Best Regards
Jim

Very nice David. Loved the perspective of the camera out over the water, face to face with the boaters.
Music reminded me of the James Gang Funk 49!

thanks very much, I sure wish I would have waited and let the kayak pass BEFORE entering the wave but heindsite is 20/20. and that's exactly what the shark mouth is supposed to emulate! so thanks again
