There are several floats and activities going on tomorrow around the state, however, I think Marlo and I will try the Remmel section of the Ouachita River tomorrow, just to do something fairly close. From all indications, the lake levels have fallen enough now, the flow rate is being reduced, and the river levels should be OK. We will stop by the boat ramp at the WW Park about Noon to meet with any other interested parties , then head up to the put-in. Join in if you'd care to!

It's a possibility though I am trying to stay focused on finishing a SOF lake boat. If nothing else I might take a lunch break and come give you a lift to the dam. I live 10 minutes from Rockport.

There were six of us on the Remmel float in our group today, and what a nice time! The river was running at a level of about 4000cfs. which was a great level. With the weeks of letting water go from above though, I'm here to tell you, it was cold
Many thanks to our friend Wayne for driving all the way down from Jonesboro to join us, and to Chris for also joining in! It was a very fun day, and there were many others out on the river as well.

Leave it to a dumby like myself to miss out on another great float. I was on the General Discussion board and was asking if anyone was going to do this float. I guess next time I will look before clicking huh? Maybe next Saturday or Sunday of anyone is going. We have not done this section and would like to tag along the first run to get to know the section better. We are not rookies by no means but do like company on any run.
