OK, I've been thinking about changing my username. Seems Felicia and Hannah don't care (they had other, more colorful remarks) for "AR-Nimrod". And I must admit that I have gotten some strange looks and even questions as to 'why "AR-Nimrod"?' when people learn that's my username. I was thinking that since I always refer to us as "Clan Crawford" that maybe that should be it. I know my buddy Deuce will probably come up with something totally different all on his own. There may be a few others (you know who you are and so do I) that will try to have a little fun with this. So OK let me have it. Your thoughts I mean.

I always thought AR-nimrod was a spot on nickname.

Now that is exactly the kind of input I expect from my fellow Shuttle Sherpas. And by the way Mr. "Root Ball" Coop you know dang good and well the River Gods exacted their revenge in a most embarrassing fashion. Right in front of family, strangers, friends and former instructors. And then to add insult to injury; HHH wanted to know "Daddy can I tell Felicia, can I, can I?" Mr. we66erno1 asking "was that your orange boat I saw upside down?" when I had the only orange boat in our group. And the coup de grace by Ms. Pat as she paddles by shaking her head saying "I thought I taught you better than that."

I am surprised that y'all got beat to the punch by RD and MM.

Besides ClanCrawford here are some suggestions I have had:
Crawfish
Crawdaddy
Squatchy (Short for Sasquatch. Bestowed upon me by the youth from our church on a camping trip to the Buffalo)
Rifleman (username from another board)
Magshooter1 (username from another board)

Well since I don't know you, I can't make any real suggestions. But I will tell you we've already got a "Sasquatch", signature... "Satch" who's been on the board for many many years. Not the same as Squatchy but might be confusing for some.

Ever thought about just using your real name?

I have considered using just my last name but, like Deuce said "BO-RING."

I like your user name just as it is very much! I often would like to know a posters 'real' name, and maybe their general area of residence ( so I won't recommend that someone form Rogers,Ar. , for instance, just jump in on one of our Caddo floats simply because I have no earthly idea where they might reside) You have a fun 'nick-name' to explain to others around the campfire, as do I. However, you do provide your real name,, and approximate area of the earth from which you come, so others (read old folks) who would care to visit with you don't feel quite so awkward as to have to start a note to you, "Dear Nimrod"
I like Ar-Nimrod, do consider keeping it!
