Please wear your big boy pants if youre gonna play the big boy game.

If you don't know how to throw a throw bag, setup a z drag, or even know what those things are.. LEARN.
The same goes for your group. You're only as strong as your weakest link.

You should be praising the creek gods, Greek gods, Allah, Jesus, or whoever you pray to that we have people like Steve and Tom and the many others who spend countless hours neglecting their own paddling agendas and progression to ensure that people of all shapes and sizes are able to attend a class to learn techniques you currently find unimportant because you've never been there or needed them. You can wear 3 new glitter full faces, 6 sets of elbow pads, drive the baddest truck, take the wildest day hikes to look at endangered lily species, have non bpa nalgenes, use only Kevlar Werners, paddle only new liquid logic John grace and woody signed boats.. Doesn't matter.

Watch the video and imagine you being that guy. Then imagine not having homeboys like Chris at your service.

Sorry for being blunt, if you're offended.. Good. Go thank your local instructor.

Bad things can happen even on class 1. It's like a CPR class. Your crew may not need the skills but someone else's might. The next swr class is posted in the stickies.
