The weather and water conditions look good for a Caddo float on Saturday, so I thought I'd post it for interested parties.
Marlo and I will be planning to meet others about 10:45-11am Saturday morning on the downstream side of the Hwy 70 Bridge at Glenwood to consolidate boats and set shuttle. Bring a lunch, cold drinks and join us if you'd care too This is about a seven mile or so trip and it's usually about five or so in the evening by the time we finish the float, retrieve vehicles, and are packed up heading to supper...

Kind of crazy at the take out...didn't get a chance to say thank you and good bye to all the great people who led me down the river today. Thanks especially to Jim and Marlo for getting everyone together.

Thanks very much Linda! Marlo and I had another very nice day on the Caddo today, and we were so pleased to have as many friends join us! If we get more rain in the near future, we will try another trip to the Caddo, if not, then we will try and set up a trip to Dragover on the Upper Ouachita.

You are most welcome to join us on any float, but it may be next weekend as many of our friends are only off duty then. I sure hoped we'd get another shot of rain here in Benton today but it looked like it passed us by. Without another significant rainfall, the Caddo will be done for the Summer. I will hope the Dragover will hold to at least 2.5 ft. by the end of the week.

Might be able to sneak over to Dragover next Saturday. Company's coming so the stars would have to align, but just maybe.........
