Good stuff!
And I was glad to hear them formally validate what I've told more than one young paddler as we headed towards Richland or the Cossatot:
Me: Do you know what to do if you have to swim?
Them: "Swim on my back, feet up and pointed downstream." (or some variation...)
Me: FORGET THAT [stuff]! You swim your [self] to shore, as fast as you can! (additional expletives added on an age-appropriate basis)

I liked that he said if everyone carries the gear listed below, then the group should have more than enough hardware even if someones gear is stored in the pinned boat.
Each person:
- 4 locking carabiners
- 3 prussick minding pulleys
- 2 prussicks
- 1 length of webbing
Of course this list doesn't mention the ropes required. Who is is that says "If you don't have one to throw to me, why would I throw you mine?"

This is a great video series. One thing I would like to point out is that when they are doing swift water entries (ie belly flop diving into the river) they don't seem to protect their face. Some people recommend crossed arms or hands in front of the face to prevent facial injuries.
Overall though these videos are well worth watching. Thanks for posting.
