Canoe evacuated via Super Puma
Another reason it's good to paddle with rafters along. Don't know if the paddler is on this board so I'll wait before telling the story.

I was going to post a similar picture with the caption, "Hey Kwakheads, Can a Kayak Do This?
But, since you're not in the RBF, and since you're an ACC high muckety-muck, I'll refrain from trying to hijack your thread and stir up class warfare.
BTW: this particular ARG boat transportation project began about a mile from the Dixon Ford put in and continued "Downstream" for 13 more to the Boxley bridge, including (incredibly) through the dreaded lower Hailstone willow jungle.
Kudos to Tim Man and Maurice for allowing the canoe's operator to hitchhike and help paddle another ARG raft to the take out.

The hitch hiker kinda threw a kink in the Tin Man-Tim Man's R2 training run for the Olympic raft team. Said hitch hker did fall out of the Puma twice. Something about gravity was mentioned.
Hitch hiker was deeply grateful for he extraction. He committed a grave error in etiquette by not offering us a beer when we got back to his truck.

Sounds like you should be publicly shaming him, not protecting his identity!Tim Eubanks wrote:He committed a grave error in etiquette by not offering us a beer when we got back to his truck.

ARG comes to the rescue again!
Always a good thing when the ARG is out in force on local creeks.
