A couple of us are going to run the West Fork from Brentwood to Woolsey after work. A short 5 mile stretch with several good play waves.
Time hasn't been set in stone but meeting at brentwood sometime between 4:30-5:30 depending on who else wants to join in.

Re: West Fork After Work
Great float. We were going to put in at Brentwood park, but today it was known as Marble River Park with signs and all. Turns out they were filming a movie there about Brandon Burlsworth (http://www.examiner.com/article/former- ... big-screen" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) and the park was closed. So we put on just upstream at Brentwood Mountain road bridge and pissed them off by floating through the scene they were filming. Cut! (or watch for us on the big screen)
The float was clear from Brentwood Mtn road to Woolsey Bridge after the flood. However, just downstream from the Woolsey bridge was a large, mature red oak crown strainer in the river. No problem if you are taking out at Woolsey or putting on, but if you are floating through watch for it.
