Anybody paddling the Mulberry tomorrow?

I need to get my girlfriend out for some more river time prior to her first WW school experience next weekend.

11-ish meeting targeting a crack o' noon put on would be fine with us but we're flexible.

I am interested in going, What part were you thinking of doing? I'm interested in any section above HWY 23 but I'm flexible on that. Let me check with others and see what we can get worked out.

Above Hwy 23 is fine; section to be determined by water level and group agreement.

Let me see if anyone from HS might be interested in going. Just came from that area and would prefer to carpool to save gas $$$ if possible. Might be in LR tonight, too...so I could meet someone from LR and just go from there...boat and gear are already loaded!

So meeting at 11ish at Turner Bend to determine the section. I would rather not do too long a paddle; I had planned on taking a yoga class at 6:15 but I'm betting that would be hard to accomplish even doing a short paddle. I will alter my class so there is no hurry for us.

Christy,
I would offer a ride from LR but Jason is going. My car can only hold two boats and his truck can only hold two people.

OK here is a another possibility for those of us coming from South of the Mulberry; Tim Eubanks is heading to the Piney so I thought I might throw that out there. It's a shorter drive but a longer shuttle. Weigh in if you have a preference. I haven't done the Mulberry since last year so either is fine with me.

We may have to determine where to go tomorrow morning. The Mulberry is at 4.5 and still rising. If rivers are high, I might be able to get my hands on a paddle raft but no one I know who is going has ever guided one. I've paddled in plenty but never guided.

I'm s on the fence. A lot will depend on what I end up doing tonight. Thanks for the offer, Karla. I'll be in touch.

I'm going to see what the level looks like in the morning. It may be too high for my GF.

If I lived near LR, I'd opt for the Piney and pay Moore's to shuttle.
