Debbie Doss and I will be manning a booth at the festival promoting the Arkansas Canoe Club and it's conservations efforts for rivers in our area. Feel free to stop by and say hello if you happen to be around. We plan on having club information available, applications, and information about our conservation efforts available for the public to see. I will also be bringing a couple of boats and gear as props.
The festival starts at 11am and will be located at the Heifer International Headquarters. Admission is free although some events may have fees along with some vendors.
Here is the festival website link: http://www.arkansasearthday.org/content/event-0" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
We hope to see some of our club members come out and enjoy the fun!

I'll be there with HURRICANE TOG in tow.

The Earthday festival was a big success. We had lots of people stop by to ask questions and lots of kids thought sitting in my kayak was great fun. The festival itself had a great turn-out with lots of interesting vendors and information booths.
The only injury sustained was a bad sunburn on my arms. They keep getting redder and redder.
Thanks to Debbie and Tim for helping out. It was a great day overall.
