white river below Batesville

Geting ready to go on a over night canoe trip from Oil Trough to Newport. can anyone give me any info on this stretch of white river and also Im trying to find a website where i can figure up river miles because we all know land and river miles are not the same thanks :wht:

might find where the local fisherman hang out and ask them. i could be wrong but I wouldn't think many people canoe that stretch.
