I am in need of 3 raft victims er crew members tomorrow on the Cossatot. I will be ur fearless captain. No jokes please. I need to get some raft guide practice in before a trip out west this summer. Respond at your own risk :)
Plan is to meet at the tot visitor center take out (down the hill at the river) at 10:00 AM. Will need to hear from any takers by bedtime tonight. Adventurous, adult newbies with cold water apparel and a willingness to run class III & IV are welcome. 501-944-0480.

Think about experience being like the stern paddler in a tandem canoe. Who was the last person you partnered with in a tandem boat besides your daughter? How did that work out?

We will be at said place but not at 10am. Alpine start not required. More like 10:30 or 11. Plenty of time to get in a bridge to bridge run.
Be afraid, be very afraid, and bring your cold water stay dry gear.

Can't make it tomorrow but if you want more practice time before your trip, I'd be happy to oblige. Survived many years rafting on the Ocoee, Payette, and some others. Not as the official guide though, unless our Captain bounced out of the back then it was usually up to me to keep us out of trouble.
